About Wizuto

Hi, I'm Jacob Hase, and I built and operate Wizuto to help people deal with vehicle problems, spot potential issues early, handle maintenance, and plan upgrades with a more prescriptive approach, kind of like having a team of experts at your disposal.
Cars and trucks can be awesome. They get you to work, take you on trips, haul your gear, and most days you don't think twice about them. But when something goes wrong, or when you're trying to fix or upgrade something, you're often left with conflicting advice, expensive guesswork, and that constant "Is it safe to keep driving?" feeling.
Why I built Wizuto
In 2025 I started using AI to help diagnose and work on my own vehicles. The results surprised me. When you give AI the right context, it can be incredibly useful at narrowing down likely causes and laying out a sensible, step-by-step plan.
At the same time, I was getting frustrated with how inefficient the usual options can be. Automotive forums and Facebook groups can be helpful, but they're often slow, messy, and full of guesses. You might get great advice, or you might get twenty opinions and no real direction.
So I built what I wanted for myself:
- An AI assistant that helps you get unstuck and figure out what to check next
- A community where real people can add their experience, confirm what worked, and share the "here's how I actually fixed it" details
Wizuto is meant to be practical. It's not about hype. It's about helping you make better decisions, whether you're chasing a weird noise, trying to interpret a code, planning a repair, or wanting to increase the performance of your vehicle.
The moment it clicked for me
While traveling out of the country, I had a recently purchased used RV on a Mercedes chassis suffer a major breakdown that ended in a complete engine replacement. There weren't any obvious warning signs ahead of time, no big symptoms that screamed "stop now." Looking back, I couldn't help thinking that if I'd been able to analyze live vehicle data more intelligently, maybe there would've been early signals something was starting to go wrong before it became catastrophic.
That experience stuck with me. And it's a big part of why Wizuto exists: to help people catch issues earlier, avoid preventable situations, and save time, money, and stress. More features for Wizuto are in the works to use AI for analyzing live vehicle data to identify potential problems not yet causing real issues or throwing codes. Think of it as a blood panel for your vehicles.
What I care about
A few simple principles guide everything I'm building:
A quick note about affiliate links
You'll find affiliate links to parts and tools on Wizuto. If you buy something through one of those links, I may earn a small commission. That money helps cover the cost of running the site and offering the AI help for free.
I'll always aim to keep recommendations straightforward and helpful, not pushy. You should buy what makes sense for you, wherever you prefer to buy it.
Welcome
If Wizuto helps you fix something, avoid a breakdown, or even just feel more confident about what's going on with your vehicle, that's a win for me.
If you want to jump in, you can start a diagnosis or browse community threads. And if you have feedback or ideas, I'd genuinely love to hear them. Wizuto gets better every time someone shares what they've learned.
