2015 Subaru STI Emissions Pump Code and Idle RPM Issue

Having an issue with my 2015 sti. I usually have codes for the emissions pump failing causing a CEL and I’ll just reset them with the accessport and go on my way without the CEL for a few days. Did just that before leaving my house earlier and when I started my car it jumped to like 3k rpms cold idle for about a second or two and then started going down to normal ranges. Started driving and I was going into boost at like 5% throttle which is super weird, usually it’s around 13%+ throttle. Stopped off the road and noticed my idle boost was only like -3psi to -4psi. It slowly after driving a little bit and getting to Walmart would idle around -5psi to -6 psi. Never had anything like this happen before and I’m not even sure where to start. On the way home I went kinda hard into boost and hit 24psi which I never go over 22psi WOT. No codes for overboosting or anything, only code is P2431 which is a normal one for me. Anyone have any idea of what/where I should start looking? I’m thinking a vacuum leak of some kinda maybe? When changing gears the rpms seem to wanna linger high before dropping as well. Any help or info would be appreciated. Not even sure how to word this to google around cause it just brings up rough idle, etc. which I don’t have a rough idle.

Check engine light came on with a p000d code. It was getting closer to needing an oil change, so the owner went ahead and did one and the code went away automatically. Today, during an autocross event, the code came back with the 3 more. They all seem to be related. P000D P0245 P0341 P0346 Update: Some more information... Pulled over to do some inspecting and research the codes, which did not come back on restarting. When trying to decide whether to take another run and then it started smoking from the passenger side of the engine near the air intake. Smoke came up from under the cables shown in the picture.

60,000 miles on 2019 f150 v8. Brought into dealer for transmission flair when cold. Mechanic drove the vehicle and it died on the highway, electronics and all. Was able to restart. This happened twice. He noticed the slipping transmission as well. He told me it was unsafe to drive. I went down and tested the battery-the voltage read 11.6. I put a new battery in. Drove it for an hour and it drove fine with multiple start ups and shutdowns. What is going on.

Wife was driving with cruise control on there. Was someone making a right turn in front of her car slowed down some and then really applied the brakes hard. Seconds later the lights all came on brake light flashing. She drove to her destination parked for a while. Came back out still on. Next day I started at drove 20 miles was fine. didn’t come on. Started on my return trip home and lights came on after hitting a small bump. I noticed once it said, electronic parking brake. Looking for guidance on what I should take a close look at to figure out the problem.

2015 chevy silverado 1500, I use the factory recommended oil, No lifter tick that I can hear and every sounds good, No oil leaks. I just got new oil cooler lines not too long ago installed. 2006 Toyota Highlander 184k Just started today when I go to 3000 RPM the engine shakes really bad. The codes are P0102, P0420, P0441, p0446, p0455. I’m thinking it has something to do with the MAF sensor. I don’t want to go around replacing stuff since all of those emission codes too. I don’t know how to get rid of it. Want to take care of it before things get worse. This just started today also when I stop the engine stalls.

2006 Toyota Highlander 3.3 V6 Check Engine Light and Oil Issue

I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander (3.3 v6) with 243k miles on it. Bought it a few months ago. Previous owner had changed catalytic converter for Bank 2 before selling it. So the issues were like this. I made like 4k miles on it. Check engine light appeared. I then noticed it was quite low on oil. Had to put over half a gallon to top it off. After few miles light went off. It now appeared again and it’s not going. Oil is still full. I checked with a scanner and those two codes appear. My question is, could both codes be related? I read that P0021 can come when low on oil / dirty oil because of the vvt valve. So hopefully not a big deal. Could that also trigger the P0420 or that is unrelated and it is because the catalytic converter is dead? So what I think of doing is changing the oil (it is time) and the vvt valve (easy fix) and clearing the codes. So my hope is that will fix P0021 and I want to know if it is possible for that change to make P0420 not appear again at least for a while.

I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 LS. I got a “Service Engine Soon,” shut it off to scan codes, and noticed the clock reset to 1:00 like the battery was disconnected. I saw P0300, cleared it, and later at a red light it shook again. Now P0300 is pending and the clock reset to 1:00 again. AutoZone says the alternator tests good. Any suggestions?

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Colt CJ 1.6 manual. The check engine light is on, the rev counter doesn’t work, and it feels like it’s in limp mode with low power. If I disconnect and reconnect the battery it drives нормально for about 5–10 miles, then the problem returns. A Launch scanner only shows P0300 (random misfire). I’ve replaced the spark plugs, coil packs, leads, crank sensor, and did an oil and filter change.

2016 Ford F-150 EC Platinum Steering Wheel Shudder Issue

2016 F150 EC Platinum. I've been experiencing intermittent "shudder" in my steering wheel for several years. At 83k miles I've replaced the tranny fluid twice with shudder fix additive. I've installed new spark plugs. I use red line fuel system cleaner which I thought fixed the issue for about 6 weeks, but it came right back. I only feel the shudder in the steering wheel and it feels like driving over rumble strips, in groups of three. BRRRRT, BRRRRT,BRRRRT. It happens during acceleration or coasting any speed above 20mph. I need a way of diagnosing what this actually is. Could be my torque converter not getting the right amount of fluid or the clutch packs inside are toast.

2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ Squealing Noise After Driving at Low Speeds

2005 jeep tj squealing after warmed up and been driving for a few miles. I notice it most when lower speeds 10-30mph(could be faster speed but I just dont hear it) pitch dosent change with speed. Sometimes when under a very minimal load(maintaining 20 or 30mph) and I let off throttle it willgo away for a second then come back. I have rebuilt the rear driveshaft double cardon and replaced the centering yoke/ball. Everything is greased, front driveshaft was pulled to see if squeal went away (it didnt) jeep has a 8.8 under it that was installed and rebuilt 20k miles ago. Breaks all good, hub bearings are good, sound is not from a belt or pulley, and I replaced the transmission fluid with red line (6spd manual trans) Does that description sound like it could be from my SYE or bearing in the np231 transfer case, or the clutch?

2018 Ford F150 5.0 Rough Idle and Timing Codes Diagnosis

Alright need some help diagnosing. 2018 F150 5.0 I start her up and she starts perfect. Idles for 15 minutes and then RPM’s drop below 500 and idle gets pretty rough. I then get the following codes: P0022 - Bank 2 timing over-retarded P0011 - Bank 1 timing over-advanced P0306 - Misfire Cylinder 6 I had a scanner hooked up and saw my oil pressure start out at 18-26psi then drop to 11-15psi at the same time the rough idle began. If I increase RPM’s to 1,500 or so, everything smoothes out and the misfires stop. If I place it in Neutral, RPM’s rise and problems stop. Stuff I’ve done: Replaced oil with 5W-30 Cleaned throttle body Replaced spark plugs Replaced camshaft position sensors Replaced VVT solenoids on Bank 2 My thought is the pump is bad. The oil gets hot, makes it thin, pump has an issue, can’t maintain pressure. or Theres another issue causing my RPM’s to drop which then causes my oil pressure to drop which then causes timing issues with the phasers which then causes misfires.

1999 Ford F-150 5.4 Triton Misfires and Rough Running Issue

I bought a 1999 F-150 5.4 Triton with 158k for $700. It had misfires on cylinders 3 and 4 and looked like an intake manifold gasket leak. I replaced the intake gasket and swapped coils, but it got worse. No hard codes now, but live data shows misfires on cylinders 1, 3, and 7 (first three in the firing order). It runs rough and has no power. I’m about to throw injectors/plugs/coils at it.
